Packing My "Comfort" Carry-On Bag (Short Trip Part 3)

For a trip with a long plane ride, I like to have a variety of things to keep me comfortable and occupied during the journey.  For the trip I recently took for my niece's wedding in New York, I took this Rockland Luggage Tote that is narrow enough to fit under a airplane seat and has several pockets.

In one of the large end pockets, I packed two pairs of fuzzy socks (to wear on the plane) and a little kit containing a blow up neck pillow and a light blanket.  In the other end pocket, I packed a set of Bose noise-canceling head phones.

There are two smaller pockets on the side of the bag.  In one, I keep my small wallet and nothing else.  In the other, I keep my phone, charger cords, and a cool external travel battery.  I got this from Amazon for about 20 bucks.  It will charge an iPhone up to five times and an iPad up to two and a half times.  I LOVE this!

In the main compartment, I packed my travel notebook (see the post and video about that) as well as a some magazines, a book, and my iPad.

I also have an Orla Kylie makeup bag that use for knitting projects.  It's perfect for that.

And finally, I packed all of my liquids and creams, so they can easily be removed when going through security.
I'd love to hear what you pack in your "comfort" carry-on bag, so feel free to comment.  Also, be sure to check out the coordinating video linked below for me detail and don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/busybeingjen.
