The regimen begins with the use of a cleansing mask. Remove makeup with a light cleanser or makeup removing cloth first. It is an exfoliator, so you massage it into the skin and let it sit for 2 minutes while it dries. Then rinse off. (In the evenings, I use my Clarisonic afterwards.)
Step 2 is a pore minimizing toner that you swipe on with a cotton pad.
Step 3 is moisturizer. For daytime, it's the Triple Defense Treatment with a broad spectrum SPF 30.
For nighttime, the moisturizer is the Overnight Restorative Cream.
In addition to the basic skin care system, I also got the AMP it Up roller. This is used at night after using the toner. You may notice in the photo below that the roller has tiny needles on it. They are far too short to cause bleeding, but they make slight punctures in the upper layer of the skin, increasing collagen production and allowing for deeper penetration of the retinol product that goes on after. It feels prickly when you use it, but it doesn't really hurt.
I'm excited to try this system and hoping for great results. I'll be back in a month to show you my results after four weeks of using the system. For more detail and a closer look, check out the video linked below.

Wow, that roller looks pretty scary (although that could be my massive fear of needles coming through). Great review :)
ReplyDeleteIt actually doesn't even feel like needles. Just something rough and prickly. The longer I use it, the less prickly it feels. Thanks for stopping by!
